Noce (also known as Casa 250) Kitchen You walk through the front door of Noce (meaning 'walnut' and named after the walnut trees at Villa Borghetti) into a large double aspect kitchen. At the far end are modern kitchen units including sink, gas/electric cooker, refrigerator and freezer. To the right is a food preparation unit containing pots and pans etc. In the centre of the room is a large, extending kitchen table, chairs and a children’s high chair. Sitting room Previously two separate rooms, we had the dividing wall knocked down to restore the sitting room to its original splendour. Two south facing windows give the room plenty of light. At the nearer end, the original brickwork has been left exposed. In this wall is a cupboard containing games and puzzles for all ages, while to the left is a CD/MP3/tape player and speakers. At the far end there is a television and DVD player, together with a selection of DVDs. Bedroom 1 Facing you at the top of the stairs is the smallest of the three bedrooms of Noce, containing a single bed, chair and side table with bedside lamp. Landing On the landing you will find a bookcase containing an assortment of books for adults and children. Please feel free to borrow from the ‘library’, but always return the books before you leave and/or add to our collection. Bedroom 2 To the right is the double aspect master bedroom which has lovely views to the south and west. This room features a king-size iron bed, two side tables, bedside lamp, chair and wardrobe. Bedroom 3 Next is the twin bedroom, which contains an armchair and a chest of drawers as well as the two single beds and a cot. Bathroom The bathroom contains an all-new white bathroom suite, mirror with cabinet and power shower. There is a night light which you may wish to leave on overnight. |
