How to Get There

Le Marche is to the east of Tuscany and Umbria, about a third of the way down the eastern side of Italy, between the Apennines and the Adriatic.  The quickest and cheapest way to get to Villa Borghetti from the UK is generally to fly with Ryanair from London Stansted to Ancona airport.  We book from Friday to Friday, when flights tend to be cheaper than at weekends.  The flight takes just over two hours.

From the airport it’s an easy drive of about 70 minutes, mostly on the autostrada (toll €2.70) and superstrada (dual carriageway).  Detailed directions from Ancona airport will be sent when you book.

You can also fly with Ryanair to Perugia, Rimini, Pescara or Bologna Forli (all about two to two and a half hours away), while a number of airlines fly to Rome and from there it takes about three and a half hours.
